Kejie advised Wellington College’s local partner on the establishment of Wellington College International Tianjin. Wellington College International Tianjin is the first partner school of Wellington College established outside the UK.  The legal service Kejie provided for the transaction includes: (i) advising on the overall transaction structure; (ii) reviewing and revising the transaction documents between Wellington College and its local partner; (iii) drafting the transaction documents in connection with the establishment of Wellington College International Tianjin; and (iv) participating in transaction negotiations.

Wellington College International Tianjin is a non-profit organization and is located on a 35,000 sq.m. site in the Hongqiao district of Tianjin. Wellington College International Tianjin officially opened in August 2011.

Wellington College is a highly prestigious independent school founded by Queen Victoria in 1859, as the national monument to one of the country’s greatest military leaders, the Duke of Wellington.
