Kejie has advised Shanxi Securities Co., Ltd. on the establishment of its investment bank joint venture, named “Zhong De Securities Company Limited”, with Deutsche Bank AG. The joint venture has been approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission ("CSRC") on 28 December 2008.

Kejie worked on the transaction, which involved due diligence, transaction structure and documentation. Kejie also assisted Shanxi Securities to negotiate with Deutsche Bank and to get the Chinese governmental approval.

Kejie team was led by partner He Jie and included associate Cao Lei, Yu Jiazhi and paralegal Zhang Fang.

Zhong De Securities is the second investment bank joint venture to win CSRC approval since new rules for the establishment of foreign-shared securities companies came out in December 2007. The first one is Credit Suisse Founder Securities Ltd., a joint venture between Founder Securities and Credit Suisse.
