Cathay Associates aims toprovide legal service for the Chinese enterprises’ outbound investment relevant with the “Belt and Road”. Cathay Associates and Zhong De Securities Company Limited successfully held the “Belt and Road” &Outbound Investment M&A Forum (the “Forum”) in October 19, 2015 at the Club of Beijing JW Marriott.

More than 200 guests attended the Forum, including listed companies, investments institutions, financial institutions, consulting companies and researching agencies. At the forum, Chinese entrepreneurs and specialists shared their unique insights and experience on outbound investment and M&A. Partners from the European member law firms of Cathay Associates (including Spain, Poland, Romania, Hungary) had a thorough analyzation and explanation on the matters of industry policies, the government supervisory and approval process, the legal structure of investing entities,the tax and tax incentive policy, the visa of Chinese workers, the foreign exchange supervision, investment protection and dispute resolution.
