The Opening Ceremony

Focusing“LED+” reshaped semiconductor lighting industry in the Internet Age. In the morning of November 3, the 12th China International Forum on Solid State Lighting (SSLCHINA 2015) held a grand opening ceremony at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. The conference closely follows the pulse of the times and the development trend ofthe industry. With the theme of “LED+ in the Internet Age”, it attracts morethan 1,000 people including experts and scholars, business leaders, industry leaders and relevant government officials to participate in.

As the most internationally influential semiconductor lighting industry annual event in China, SSLCHINA is one of the most important forums of the industry, and isalso the largest industry event in Asia, bringing together many of the world’stop elites to gather in Shenzhen and discuss the development trend of theindustry.

The conference is chaired by Cao Jianlin as the Chinese chairman, who is the vice minister of Ministry of Science and Technology and by Mr. Yoshi Ohno as the foreign chairman, who is the presidentof the International Commission on illumination (CIE), the opening ceremony ofwhich is hosted by Cao Guoying,Deputy Director-General of the Department of High and New Technology of Ministry of Science and Technology.

In order to promote the “Lightening the Belt and Road Action Plan”, the China Solid State Lighting Alliance and International SSLA lliance, on the basis of the existing international cooperation, have cooperated with relevant professional institutions to build an industrial cooperation service platform, which include “New Silk Road Bright Fund”investment and financing service platform, LED cross-border B2B e-commerceplatform and overseas consulting service platform.

The “Lightening the Belt and Road Action Plan” ishighly valued and supported by the Construction Executive Office of “the Belt andRoad”, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Science and Technology and other relevant departments. Ou Xiaoli, director of Construction Executive Office of “the Belt and Road” and inspector of the National Development and Reform Commission Western Department, was also invited toattend the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, leadersand guests in attendance witnessed the launch of CSA “Lightening the Belt and Road Action Plan” and “Light of Wisdom Maker Space” project. Fan Yubo, the chairmanof Industry Research and Development of China Solid State Lighting Alliance,presided over the launch and unveiling ceremony.

Feng Yadong, deputy secretary general of China Solid State Lighting Alliance, started the “Lightening the Belt and Road Action Plan”.
